Chairperson Rahjes opened the hearing on HB 2800 and requested Kyle Hamilton, Revisor, Office of Revisor of Statutes, to give an overview of this bill. (Attachment 1). He stood for questions.
Following the bill overview, Chairperson Rahjes invited Representative Doug Blex,12th District, Kansas House of Representatives, to provide proponent testimony on HB 2800. (Attachment 2) Representative Blex answered questions from the Committee.
Kelsey Olson, Deputy Secretary, Kansas Department of Agriculture, offered proponent testimony. (Attachment 3) She stood for questions.
Also contributing proponent testimony was Dan Meyerhoff, Executive Director, Kansas Association of Conservation Districts. (Attachment 4) Mr. Meyerhoff responded to questions from the Committee.
