Chairperson Longbine opened the hearing on SB392.
Eileen Ma, Assistant Revisor of Statutes, Kansas Office of Revisor of Statutes (ROS), provided the Revisor's Memorandum brief of SB392 and stood for questions. There were none. (Attachment 1)
Oral Proponents:
Jeff Chanay, State of Kansas Chief Deputy Attorney General, testified in support of the bill. (Attachment 2) He answered questions from Senators Gossage and Pittman.
Lee Modesitt, Director of Government Affairs and Communication, KID, gave proponent testimony and answered a question from Senator Olson. Chairperson Longbine also commented about the licensing fee reduction, (Attachment 3)
The Chairperson called for other questions, comments, or discussion. Seeing none, he asked for any other proponent, opponent, or neutral testimony to be submitted. There being none, he closed the hearing on SB392.
